Leave Magento. Keep everything you built.
HDL Commerce is the Nordic alternative to Magento — and we move you there with a migration engine that reads your existing installation, is mapped by a migration specialist and then runs automatically into your new store.
The migration engine.
Our clearest advantage in a replatforming
We connect to your Magento installation and database. The engine maps attribute sets, the category tree, product types, pricing rules, customers, orders and URL structure.
AutomaticA migration specialist goes through the mapping and matches every field to HDL Commerce. Anything without an obvious equivalent is decided together with you.
Us, with youThe mapping is run against a test environment. You get a line-by-line discrepancy report: what went in, what changed and what needs a decision.
AutomaticOnce the mapping is approved, the migration runs into your new store, with a delta run for anything that changed since the dry run.

Review
We map your Magento setup, extensions and integrations, and work out the TCO. You get a plan with scope and timing.
Mapping
The migration engine reads the installation, the specialist maps the fields and a dry run goes against a test environment.
Storefront
Solaris is set up against your data, the design goes on and the integrations connect to ERP, shipping and payments.
Go-live
A delta run, 301 redirects, the completeness report and the domain switch. We stand beside you through the launch.
Three weeks applies to a catalogue-driven store on standard flows. Advanced B2B flows and custom integrations add weeks, not quarters.
We build HDL Commerce as the alternative to Magento in the Nordics: the same flexibility, without the mountain of extensions. PIM, B2B, CMS and hosting are included — and the migration engine turns the move into a run rather than a year of project work.
Questions before the move.
Common questions
Does order history come across?+
Yes. Orders, lines, payment status and customer links all migrate, so support and the customers themselves see the history in the new store.
What happens to our SEO?+
The URL structure is read in and 301 redirects are created from the entire old structure, including categories, products and CMS pages. Metadata and structured data come with it.
We have custom extensions — how are they handled?+
The review goes through every extension. Most are matched by features that are already included. Anything genuinely specific to your business is built as its own module on top of the platform.
How much downtime is there?+
The big run happens in advance against the new environment. At go-live a delta run covers what changed, then the domain switches. In practice it is minutes, not hours.
Can we run in parallel for a while?+
Yes. Delta runs can be repeated as long as needed, so you can keep working in the old store right up to the switch.
Who does the mapping?+
A migration specialist on our side, together with you. The engine does the survey and the mechanical work; the specialist decides the judgement calls — how pricing rules and attribute sets should land, for instance.
What does the migration cost?+
It is priced by scope and entity count, and is included in the quote from the review. See pricing for the platform.
Does it work from platforms other than Magento?+
Yes. The engine has source connectors for other platforms and for file-based import. Magento is the most mature path, because we have run it most often.
Let the engine read your store.
We survey your Magento setup and show what migrates automatically, what needs a decision and what the move costs.
